Lesson 38

Instructions for Lesson 38

Review the e, ee, and ea spelling patterns that say |ĕ| and |ē|, as in best, seem, seam, me, three, steam, deer, and dear.

Review: ee = |ē| ea = |ē|

I REVIEW the ee and ea spelling patterns for homophones (words that sound the same but have different meanings and spellings), as in seem and seam. Consult the dictionary for definitions. The words in Roman numeral I remind us of the importance of developing the habit of reading for meaning. Review: ee = |ē| ea = |ē|
